Registered General Nurse (RGN) Functional Assessor (Full-Time, UK-Wide) Salary: £37,500 £49,934 (dependent on location)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working pattern: Hybrid (on-site + home-based)
Experience: Minimum 1 year UK practice as an NMC-registered Adult Nurse
About the Role We are recruiting experienced NMC-registered Registered General Nurses (Adult) across the UK to join our nationwide team of Functional Assessors . This role is perfect for nurses seeking predictable daytime hours, improved worklife balance, and an opportunity to use their clinical expertise in a new, structured, and highly supportive environment.
Youll receive comprehensive training , so no previous Functional Assessor experience is needed.
Whats on Offer Competitive salary: £37,500 £49,934 (depending on where you live)
Hybrid working model , combining centre-based assessments with home-based report writing
Structured salary increments: £1,000 uplift at 6 months
Further £1,000 uplift at 12 months

Key Responsibilities Conduct functional assessments using a structured, evidence-based clinical model
Review medical evidence and claimant documentation
Produce comprehensive, high-quality clinical reports
Maintain NMC professional standards and uphold best practice
Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
What Youll Need To be eligible, you must:
Be an NMC-registered Adult Nurse (RGN)
Have at least 1 year of post-registration nursing experience in the UK
Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Be confident using digital systems in a hybrid working environment
Bring a compassionate, patient-centred, and professional approach
