Salary:£30,000 £36,000 per annum (depending on experience) Hours:Average 40 hours per week (some flexibility depending on role) Employment Type:Permanent Probation Period:6 months Accommodation:Not available Role Overview We are currently recruiting Registered Veterinary Nurses across our London, Surbiton, and Surrey clinics due to service growth and increasing caseloads. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, practical, and motivated RVN looking to progress their career within a supportive and forward-thinking practice group. We are particularly keen to hear from nurses who enjoy utilising their practical skillset, remain calm under pressure, and are enthusiastic about supporting and mentoring student nurses and apprentices. Key Responsibilities Deliver consistently high standards of nursing care to patients Support veterinary surgeons with procedures, work-ups, and patient monitoring Provide excellent client care, maintaining a friendly, professional, and approachable manner Actively contribute as a team player, supporting colleagues across departments Assist with the training, support, and development of student nurses and apprentices Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised clinical environment For ECC roles: deliver high-quality inpatient and emergency care during day and night shifts Requirements Registered Veterinary Nurse (RCVS) Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour Strong communication skills with both colleagues and clients Proactive, practical, and calm under pressure Cooperative team player with a positive attitude Keen to support training and development of others What We Offer Salary: £30,000£36,000 DOE Annual CPD budget: £1,000 per annum Clear xehkeey progression and development pathways Pension enrolment after 3 months of employment Holiday entitlement: Non-ECC roles: 28 days including bank holidays Additional leave benefits: 1 additional day of annual leave accrued per year of service (up to 10 years) Birthday off ECC Role Specifics (Surbiton Hospital) 7 days on / 14 days off rota Nights (8pm - 8am) Exposure to a varied medical and post surgical caseload This role would suit an RVN who is career-driven, hands-on, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care, while helping to shape and support the next generation of veterinary nurses.
