Regional Sales Manager Location: Midlands (work from home, visit clients in the Midlands) Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: MondayFriday, 9:00am5:00pm (35 hours per week)
About the Role:
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Regional Sales Manager to take full ownership of our clients across the Midlands. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a field-based role, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and is motivated by identifying and maximising sales opportunities.
The company is a UK-based company that specialises in developing, sourcing, and supplying innovative consumer products across a range of categories, including heating, cooling, and household appliances. Working closely with major retailers and independent channels, they bring products to market through well-known brands, focusing on quality, functionality, and value for customers. With a strong emphasis on commercial insight and customer relationships, the company manages the full product lifecycle, from concept and design through to distribution and after-sales support, ensuring a seamless experience for both retail partners and end consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
Account Management
Develop a strong understanding of markets, product categories, and customer needs
Build and maintain excellent relationships with independent retail partners
Identify and capitalise on new business and sales opportunities
Plan and manage customer product ranges and promotional calendars
Deliver insightful sales analysis, reporting performance against budget
Prepare and present customer proposals, including internal briefings and P&L analysis
Lead and host regular customer review meetings
Commercial & Strategic Planning
Take ownership of budgets and P&L for designated accounts
Provide data-driven recommendations to support business growth
Ensure effective execution of sales strategies and initiatives
Supply & Operations
Maintain a strong understanding of supply chain and returns processes
Manage order planning and provide recommendations to customers
Data & Administration
Maintain accurate customer range and pricing documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product information for reviews and proposals
Continuously improve internal processes to enhance efficiency

Skills & Experience:
Essential:
Minimum 1 years experience working within an independent retail channel (e.g. electrical, garden centres, kitchen studios, department stores)
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
