The Opportunity


An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing Real Estate Finance and Structured Debt team within a leading international law firm in London. This role represents a strategic growth hire, reflecting continued investment in the practice following a series of recent high-profile lateral additions.


The team operates across a fully integrated Real Estate Finance, CMBS/RMBS, and Structured Debt platform, advising a broad spectrum of clients including borrowers, lenders, lead managers, and issuers on sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

This is a top-tier, Band 1 ranked practice with an established reputation for delivering on some of the most complex and high-value transactions in the market. The team is regularly instructed by major investment managers, global financial institutions, and leading banks, and is particularly well-regarded for:

  • Pan-European, multi-jurisdictional financings
  • Market-leading CMBS and RMBS transactions
  • Innovative and structured real estate-backed lending solutions

The Role

  • Advising on high-value, cross-border real estate finance transactions
  • Acting for a diverse client base including lenders, sponsors, and alternative credit providers
  • Gaining exposure to structured debt, securitisation (CMBS/RMBS), and complex financing arrangements
  • Working as part of a dynamic, growing team on market-leading mandates

Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years’ post-qualification experience
  • Strong grounding in real estate finance from a recognised practice
  • Experience gained at a leading UK, US, or international law firm preferred
