An established and growing main contractor is seeking aQuantity Surveyorto join its team on a high-profile commercial office refurbishment in Central London.This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who enjoys delivering complex cut-and-carve and CAT A refurbishment schemes in prime locations. The project involves a back-to-frame redevelopment of a multi-storey office building, incorporating structural alterations, faade upgrades and high-specification finishes.The successful Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Manager to ensure strong commercial control throughout the lifecycle of the scheme.For this Quantity Surveyor position, you will take ownership of subcontract packages from procurement through to final account, maintaining cost certainty and protecting margin.Day-to-day duties:Managing subcontract procurement from enquiry to order placementPreparing and issuing tender documentationCarrying out tender analysis and subcontract negotiationsManaging valuations, variations and change controlProducing cost reports and supporting monthly CVRsMonitoring project cash flow and forecastingAgreeing interim applications and final accountsWorking closely with site teams to manage commercial riskFor this Quantity Surveyor role, the successful candidate will require the following:3+ years experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a UK main contractorExperience delivering commercial refurbishment or office projectsGood working knowledge of JCT contractsAbility to manage packages independentlyStrong negotiation and communication skillsDegree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related disciplineSalary & Package£55,000 £65,000 basic salaryCar allowancePension contributionPrivate healthcareBonus scheme25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysClear progression pathway to Senior Quantity SurveyorJBRP1_UKTJ
