Job Description
QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Location: Glasgow (Office based with occasional site visits)

THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial Team. Working alongside our Contracts Managers and project teams, you’ll manage costs, procurement, and commercial performance across a range of refurbishment and minor works projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision, enjoys variety in their work, and is keen to play a key role in Fourply’s continued success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage commercial and contractual arrangements across client projects Price, negotiate and agree project costs, budgets, and variations Procure subcontractor packages and manage supplier relationships Monitor financial performance and prepare valuations and final accounts Prepare financial and management reports to support project monitoring Promote strong commercial awareness across project teams
ABOUT YOU
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a similar field Experience in construction or refurbishment environments Strong understanding of cost control, procurement, and valuation processes Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organisational skills
Desirable:
Membership of RICS or another relevant body Experience with Schedule of Rates contracts Familiarity with construction regulations and contract frameworks
