This is an opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to work with a Tier 1 Main Contractor As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing packages under a Commercial Manager on a £300m prison project. This will consist of 741 new category C prison places for the Ministry of Justice in three four-storey house blocks. The project will feature ancillary facilities including a health care building, a multipurpose workshop, additional kitchen space, and upgrades to several existing buildings including the gym and gatehouse. You will be based 5 days on site with flexibility. This is a full-time permanent position with a Tier 1 Main Contractor that have a strong pipeline of work. This company are a leading contractor in the UK and have a turnover of over £2bn. They are constantly finding new innovative ways of working whilst supporting their staff progress through the ranks. Some sectors they work across include commercial, education, health care, industrial, heritage, residential, retail, and justice. Key Requirements of Quantity Surveyor: The company are looking for a Quantity Surveyor who is confident and has strong interpersonal skills creating long-lasting relationships. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing packages.
