Quality Monitoring Officer

Are you passionate about quality, compliance, and customer outcomes? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Monitoring Officer to join our dynamic team in Ipswich.

This role plays a crucial part in upholding our commitment to excellent service and delivering on the FCA’s Consumer Duty.


Duties will include

  • Independently review and monitor quality standards across customer accounts, ensuring good outcomes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify potential risks and errors with financial or reputational impact.
  • Conduct and document both individual quality checks and thematic reviews.
  • Work cross-functionally to evaluate findings, make recommendations, and contribute to client and internal reports.
  • Actively support continuous improvement and change initiatives from a Quality Assurance perspective.


Essential Skills:

  • Strong communication skills - written and verbal - across all business levels.
  • Analytical mindset with investigative and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and confidence presenting data in both narrative and numerical formats.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Strong MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).
  • A collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach to teamwork and continuous improvement.


Desirable:

  • A keen understanding of FCA’s Consumer Duty principles.
  • Commitment to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring positive customer journeys.
  • Ability to provide insightful, constructive feedback.
  • A drive to take ownership, deliver results, and influence positive change.
