A global food manufacturer in Cambridgeshire are on the hunt for a new Quality Manager to join a highly successful Technical team. This is a new role in the business and a real chance for you to make a difference!
They supply the highest quality products into some of the biggest retailers in the country. If you can maintain top standards and manage a Quality team, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities:
Lead and develop the QA team to maintain strong performance
Support the continuous improvement and effective implementation of the site Quality Management System
Ensure full compliance with food safety legislation, customer requirements, and internal quality standards
Provide day-to-day QA support on the factory floor
Support the HACCP team
Assist with internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, and traceability
Support the preparation and delivery of BRC and customer audits
Manage non-conformances and root cause investigations to prevent recurrence
Oversee product holds, releases, rework processes, and related documentation
Support the investigation of customer complaints and help implement corrective actions
Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across the site
What they are looking for:
Quality Manager experience in a Food Industry/FMCG environment
Clear evidence of developing Quality teams
Previous experience working with retailer
Ability to work with other departments to achieve a common goal
