An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to join an automotive manufacturer in the midlands.

As Quality Manager you will be responsible for the implementation of a World Class Quality Systems (IATF 16949).

Further responsibilities will include plant quality performance, supplier development, customer satisfaction and successful new project launches.

Day to day duties will include:

*Introduce and implement internal strategic quality systems and procedures in order to ensure continuous quality improvements and meet customer requirements.

*Specifically implement and maintain the Quality Standard IATF 16949 to comply with customer requirements.

*Ensure that problem resolution tools, such as 8D, Fishbone Diagrams and Brainstorming, are used to identify sustainable solutions to quality concerns.

*Effectively manage the Quality Department, within budget, ensuring that all aims, and objectives are met.

*On a daily basis communicate with the Operations Team to inform them of current quality concerns, goals and targets.

*Work with the Engineering Department/Program Management on the introduction of new models and product changes, with the use of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure all quality aspects considered and met.
