Quality Inspector required to join a well-established Engineering company that specialises in Aerospace fine limit sheet metal work, based in the Reading area. Due to their ongoing succession, they are looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to add to the Production team.

Quality Inspector Job Overview

To produce First Article Inspection Reports and to be able to use a CMM in support of this. To provide roaming and final inspection for all products To inspect incoming goods from sub-contract suppliers Liaise with customers/suppliers on all quality matters, queries and non-conformances To raise Certificates of Conformity and delivery documentation. To aid in the control of external and internal equipment calibrations. To raise sub-contract Purchase Orders on approved suppliers To check First Off production parts Liaise with all levels of staff (management to shop floor) on all aspects of quality and continuous improvement opportunities. Support the management in developing a "continuous improvement" culture. To aid the maintenance of current approvals for AS9100 &Nadcap. Other adhoc duties as agreed from time to time by the Chief Inspector/Quality Manager.
