We are recruiting for a QSHE Coordinator to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Wellingborough area. This is a hands-on, systems-focused role supporting the Managing Director and working closely with the Health & Safety Manager to ensure environmental, compliance, and management systems are maintained to a high standard across the site.This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and wants to play a key role in keeping a manufacturing business compliant, efficient, and environmentally responsible.You will not be managing a team, but you will hold a senior and respected position within the business, supporting key operational and compliance activities across the site.The QHSE Coordinator Role:You will take ownership of QSHE systems and environmental compliance processes across the business, ensuring standards are maintained and continuously improved.Key responsibilities include:Managing and maintaining ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systems alongside the H&S ManagerCompleting approximately 30 internal audits per yearSupporting corrective actions and ensuring system improvements are implementedManaging environmental compliance and waste management processesSupporting the implementation and monitoring of CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)Recording and monitoring water and energy usageCompleting Legionella dip testing and maintaining accurate compliance recordsConducting technical waste assessments using MDSAssessing recyclability, hazardous materials, and chemical breakdown of waste streamsSupporting the Managing Director with compliance and environmental reportingEnsuring all documentation and records are accurate, structured, and audit readyWhat We Are Looking ForExperience working in QSHE, QHSE, Environmental or Compliance within manufacturingExperience working with ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 systemsStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsComfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing environmentExperience with audits and compliance documentationEnvironmental or waste management knowledge is highly beneficialConfident working independently and supporting senior leadershipA structured and methodical approach to workWhat Youll Get£40,000 £41,500 salaryStable and established manufacturing environmentSenior position with direct support to the Managing DirectorStructured Monday to Friday working hoursOpportunity to take ownership of QSHE systemsLong-term role within a supportive business20 days holiday + bank holidaysPensionApplyIf you are a detail-focused QSHE or Environmental professional looking for a stable, structured role within manufacturing, we would be interested in speaking with you.Apply now or contact us for a confidential discussion.The Hire Place LLP is acting as a recruitment agencyon behalf of its client.JBRP1_UKTJ
