Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Immediate Requirement

Location: London (Central & Outer)

Rate / Salary: £60,(Apply online only)–£90,(Apply online only) + package

A well-established main contractor is looking to strengthen its commercial team with the addition of experienced Project and Senior Quantity Surveyors. The business has recently secured several high-profile schemes across leisure, life sciences, technology, and commercial sectors, with project values ranging from £30m to £150m.

These roles offer the opportunity to take responsibility for end-to-end commercial delivery or to support a lead surveyor on complex, high-value projects. Experience in procurement, cost management, and contract administration will be highly regarded, as many of these projects are already underway or about to start on site.

Position Overview

Title: Project / Senior Quantity Surveyor

Location: Central & Outer London

Engagement: Permanent, Contract, or Temp-to-Perm

Start Date: Immediate / ASAP

Key Responsibilities

Oversee procurement processes and manage trade packages
Prepare and assess valuations, variations, and payments
Monitor project budgets and cost forecasts
Attend and contribute to regular site and progress meetings
Support commercial reporting and maintain compliance with contract terms
Ideal Background

Demonstrable experience working on large-scale new build or refurbishment schemes
Knowledge of JCT and NEC forms of contract
Experience across two-stage or PCSA procurement advantageous
Strong commercial acumen and ability to manage multiple packages
