About the role of Project Quantity Surveyor:
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a Tier 1 Main Contractor with a turnover of over £1bn. They are looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to be a no2 on a £30m industrial unit project under NEC contract. This role is full time, permanent and, site based in West London. It is an opportunity to join one of the UK's leading Main contractors who have gone from strength to strength over the past 5 years
Key Responsibilities of Project Quantity Surveyor:
Managing the subcontractor packages from procurement
Feeding into CVRs
Working closely with the senior to ensure the commercial success of the project
Key Requirements of Project Quantity Surveyor:
The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor or ground works background, and be competent in managing the downstream process. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team.
Degree in a construction related subject
Minimum of 5 years experience with another main contractor or ground works specialist contractor
NEC experience preferred
Industrial / Steel frame experience preferred
