Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future.
We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators.
This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.

What will you be doing?
A Project Manager is required for the Telecoms Division at MGroup Ltd. The role will support delivery of fibre projects for our client Openreach.
The position is based in Portsmouth. Work will focus on managing project timelines, budgets, and compliance with client standards. Coordination of resources will be required to ensure work is completed safely and on time.
Experience in project management within telecoms or utilities will be expected. Knowledge of fibre networks will be an advantage. Strong organisational skills will be needed to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
The role will involve communication with internal teams and the client. Reports will be prepared to track progress and highlight risks. Issues will be resolved in line with agreed processes. What you’ll bring;
Experience in managing projects within telecoms or utilities will be expected. Knowledge of fibre networks will be helpful. A strong understanding of project delivery processes will be required. The ability to plan and organise work effectively will be essential. Confidence in managing budgets and timelines will be important. A clear approach to problem solving will be needed to address challenges as they arise.
Communication skills will be required to maintain positive relationships with teams and clients. Reports will need to be prepared to show progress and highlight risks. Decisions will be made in line with agreed standards and procedures.
Experience in leading teams will be valued. A focus on safety and compliance will be necessary throughout all stages of the project.
