Job Description

We are working with a leading fit out subcontractor who is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver a key project based in Oxford.\n\nThis is a hands-on role managing the subcontract package on a fast-paced scheme, working closely with the main contractor and driving delivery on site.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the fit out package, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and in line with client expectations.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Manage the fit out package from site set-up through to completion\n\n * Coordinate directly with the main contractor and site teams\n\n * Oversee subcontract labour, trades, and materials\n\n * Drive programme and ensure key milestones are achieved\n\n * Manage RFIs, variations, and site documentation\n\n * Ensure all works meet quality standards and specifications\n\n * Maintain strict health & safety compliance on site\n\n * Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience working for a subcontractor as a Project Manager\n\n * Strong background in internal fit out (drylining, ceilings, partitions, etc.)\n\n * Experience working alongside main contractors on large-scale projects\n\n * Commercial awareness and ability to manage variations\n\n * Strong communication and organisational skills\n\n * SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
