We are recruiting on behalf of a leading contractor delivering works on a major infrastructure scheme in the South West.

We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of key substructure and heavy civils packages.

The Role

Lead delivery of substructure works including foundations, drainage, and groundworks

Manage site teams, subcontractors, and programme performance

Drive productivity and ensure works are delivered to programme

Maintain high standards of HSEQ compliance

Liaise with senior stakeholders and client teams

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as a Project Manager within heavy civils

Strong substructure / groundworks background (essential)

Experience delivering £5m–£30m+ civils packages

Hands-on, delivery-focused with strong site presence

Able to operate in a fast-paced, high-output environment

This role suits someone who is close to the detail, proactive, and used to driving works on site day-to-day.
