Project Director | Fit-out & Refurbishment\n\n360 Recruitment are partnering with a leading design & build interior fit-out specialist to appoint an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of high-profile commercial projects nationwide.\n\nThis is a senior leadership role with full accountability for project performance, client relationships, and team leadership across multiple fast-paced, high-value schemes.\n\nJob role: Project Director\n\nLocation: West Midlands, with travel to sites nationwide\n\nSalary: £65,000 - £75,000 (dependant on level of experience) + car allowance + package\n\nWe are seeking a commercially astute and confident client-facing professional with experience in design & build commercial fit-out and refurbishment. You will have a strong understanding of the full project lifecycle, including procurement routes and delivery, and be comfortable engaging clients early to shape and convert opportunities.\n\nThis role requires a driven individual who can operate at a senior level - interpreting client briefs, uncovering key challenges, and working collaboratively with internal teams to develop practical, high-quality design and build solutions.\n\nOverview of role: \n\nLead and convert design & build opportunities, developing winning bid strategies\nAct as a trusted client advisor, building strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle\nEngage stakeholders early, visiting sites to understand requirements and qualify opportunities\nInterpret client briefs, identifying key objectives, constraints, and challenges\nDrive opportunities from initial contact through to pitch, proposal, and project award\nPrepare and deliver high-quality presentations and commercially sound proposals\nCollaborate with design, pre-construction, and delivery teams to develop aligned solutions\nLead commercial discussions, including negotiation and programme considerations\nMaintain clear communication between clients and internal teams, adapting to evolving requirements\nRequirements: \n\nStrong technical understanding of commercial fit-out and refurbishment construction\nExcellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills\nConfident leading meetings and presentations\nProven experience producing high-quality proposals and winning work\nStrong commercial awareness, including negotiating project financials\nExperience delivering projects typically in the £500k–£2m+ range\nAdaptable and responsive to changing client needs and opportunities\nTo apply, please submit your CV and a member of our team will be in contact
