We are seeking a dynamic and organised Programme Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of our flagship leadership programmes, and relevant commissioned programmes. This is a pivotal role that combines operational excellence, stakeholder engagement, and a passion for developing leadership in complex public service environments.\n\nClient Details\n\nThis organisation operates within the public sector, focusing on collaborative efforts to drive improvements and efficiencies across local government. As a small-sized entity, it is committed to delivering outcomes that benefit communities and stakeholders alike.\n\nDescription\n\nProgramme Delivery:\n\nLead delivery of leadership programmes, coordinating recruitment, content design, logistics, and delivery with internal and external partners.\nManage timelines, budgets, and event planning (in-person, virtual, and international).\nUse project tools to track progress and maintain clear documentation and communications.Stakeholder Engagement:\n\nBuild strong relationships with participants, alumni, delivery partners, and public service stakeholders.\nAct as a key contact and collaborate with local authorities, NHS, civil service, and community organisations.Learning, Insight & Impact:\n\nGather and analyse feedback to evaluate impact and improve programmes.\nDevelop evaluation frameworks and produce reports for funders and partners.\nContribute to thought leadership and new programme development.Business Development:\n\nSupport and lead on partnership building and proposal development.
\n\nProfile\n\nA successful Programme Manager should have:\n\nProven experience in managing complex projects within central government, local government or health systems.\nExcellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities (PRINCE2 or equivalent).\nExperience with programme evaluation and impact assessment.\nExperience of writing proposals and competitive tenders\nStrong organisational and problem-solving skills to handle shifting priorities effectively.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nA working understanding of public sector policies and regulations.\nProficiency in project management tools and methodologies.\nA collaborative approach to teamwork and leadership.Job Offer\n\nAn hourly rate of approximately £28.00 to £32.00 depending on experience\nA temporary position with opportunities to contribute to impactful public sector initiatives.\nHybrid working available 1-2 days required in office\nFull time - 35 hours per weekIf you are passionate about creating positive change in the public sector and meet the criteria above, we encourage you to apply for this Programme Manager role in London today
