Product Designer (Contract) | Outside IR35 | FinTech or Payments experience required

Location: Shoreditch (open to hybrid / remote working options)

Rate: £450 per day outside IR35

Duration: 6 months

The Opportunity

We are partnering with a high-growth Fintech scale-up that is redefining how digital value is moved and stored globally. They are looking for a Product Designer to join them on a contract basis. This is a UX-intensive role focused on the critical infrastructure of digital finance. You will have full ownership of the user experience for how money enters the system, how it’s managed, and how B2B customers interact with their capital.

Key repsonsibilities:

• Core Financial Logic: Designing the workflows for money movement, storage, and account management.
• New Product Launch: Leading the end-to-end design for a new prepaid card solution from the ground up.
• Scale & Optimization: Refining existing high-volume gift card products to ensure seamless B2B operations.

Who You Are

• Fintech Specialist: You have deep experience in the financial technology sector, specifically dealing with payments, billing, or treasury systems. You understand the complexity of ledger-based products.
• Full-Stack Designer: You can handle everything from high-level UX strategy and discovery to pixel-perfect UI execution.
• Ambiguity-Friendly: You thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment where processes are evolving. You don't need a dedicated research team to get answers—you’re happy to validate your own assumptions.
