Private Client Solicitor – Leeds

A prestigious law firm with a strong reputation for technical excellence is seeking an experienced and high-calibre Private Client Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its respected Leeds team. This senior opportunity is ideal for a confident practitioner ready to step into a Managing Associate or Director position, advising high net worth individuals and owner-managed businesses on sophisticated private client matters.

The Role:

In this position, you will manage a diverse and complex caseload while providing leadership, supervision and support to junior team members.

Your work will include:

• Drafting and advising on intricate wills, trusts and estate planning matters, including cross-border complexities and inheritance tax mitigation
• Overseeing estate administration and handling lasting powers of attorney
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients, fostering long-term relationships and delivering exceptional, bespoke advice
• Working collaboratively with internal colleagues and external advisers on business succession, foreign asset structuring and HMRC compliance
• Contributing to business development efforts through networking, referrals and relationship building

About You:

You will be well suited to this role if you have:

• At least 6 years' PQE in Private Client work, with hands-on experience handling complex estates and trust arrangements
• Strong understanding of the intersection between Private Client, Corporate, Property and Family law
• A proven track record advising high net worth individuals and business owners
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly and confidently
• A commercially aware, proactive approach and a commitment to delivering first-class client service
