We are seeking an experienced Principal Structural Engineer to take responsibility for technical leadership, design solutions, and the delivery of high-quality structural designs. The role will ensure that all structural outputs meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards while supporting the development of the wider design team.

Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the production of structural design deliverables to ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements Approve design deliverables, design risk assessments (DRAs), reports, and specifications Identify efficient and appropriate design solutions through scope review and site visits, and communicate these effectively to clients and project teams Direct, mentor, and develop engineers, CAD technicians, and graduate staff Ensure designs comply with relevant technical, professional, and water company standards Manage and record design changes across project packages Ensure work is delivered using formal processes and procedures Estimate design hours and support project planning Attend and present at ALM, KM, and other technical or project meetings Review, interpret, and brief teams on engineering standards, procedures, and upd...
