A market-leading consultancy is seeking a Principal Acoustic Consultant to join its central London office. This is a rare opportunity for a technically confident and commercially minded acoustic professional to take the lead on high-profile projects and play a strategic role in shaping the future of the consultancy.

Key Responsibilities

Lead delivery of complex projects across residential, commercial, cultural, and infrastructure sectors. *

Provide hands-on technical leadership, including acoustic modelling and design. *

Oversee quality assurance, project performance, and client relationships. *

Mentor junior consultants and contribute to team development. *

Engage with clients and stakeholders, supporting strategic growth.

Requirements

*

8+ years' experience in acoustic consultancy, with leadership responsibilities. *

Strong background in building acoustics, sound insulation, and planning support. *

In-depth knowledge of BB93, BS8233, and relevant national planning policy. *

Proven record of project delivery and client management. *

Skilled in software such as ODEON, CadnaA, or SoundPLAN. *

Chartered status or working towards it (IOA). *

Full UK driving licence.
