Press Brake Operator

Our long-standing manufacturing client in Bolton is looking for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join their growing team.
They deliver complex projects across nuclear, oil & gas, defence, marine, industrial, pharmaceutical, architectural and water sectorsoffering varied and technically challenging work.
Overview:
Operate press brake machinery to produce components to required specifications
Set and run machines to pre-determined parameters, including material handling
Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate pressing of parts
Use overhead crane for safe movement of materials
Work to Inspection and Test Plans, ensuring all components meet quality standards
Pack, kit and prepare components following production
Maintain a clean, safe and organised work area in line with company procedures
Follow route cards, travellers and process documentation throughout production
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards at all times
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience operating a Press Brake machine
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Current overhead crane certification
FLT licence (desirable)
Experience working with route cards / process trackers / inspection plans
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Own transport required
On offer:
Up to £19.22 per hour
37 hours per week (4-day week, MondayThursday) - FRIDAY OFF!
Day shifts (6:30am4:15pm or 7:00am4:45pm) - You choose!
