**Power Electronics Systems Engineer - Contract - OUTSIDE IR35**Our client require an experiencedPower Electronics Engineerto take the lead in developingAdvanced Power Conversion Systems and Power Control Solutionsfor electric vehicle and electrification applications.Candidate Requirements:Significant experience in development of power electronic systems such as DCDCs and inverters at high voltages.Strong knowledge of product development cycle from requirements capture through to testing methodologies.Thorough understanding of various power conversion topologies.Understanding of switching device technologies (e.g. Si MOSFET/IGBT, SiC, GaN)Knowledge of EMC standards and practical experience in testing and troubleshootingExperience of hardware design to functional safety standardsKnowledge of electrical safety legislation, protection schemes and energy gridsIf you're excited by the opportunity to help shape the electrical systems of future motorcycles, combining modern engineering with legendary design, we'd love to hear from you.
