**Power Electronics Systems Engineer - Contract - OUTSIDE IR35**
Our client require an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to take the lead in developing Advanced Power Conversion Systems and Power Control Solutions for electric vehicle and electrification applications.
Candidate Requirements: Significant experience in development of power electronic systems such as DCDCs and inverters at high voltages. Strong knowledge of product development cycle from requirements capture through to testing methodologies. Thorough understanding of various power conversion topologies. Understanding of switching device technologies (e.g. Si MOSFET/IGBT, SiC, GaN) Knowledge of EMC standards and practical experience in testing and troubleshooting Experience of hardware design to functional safety standards Knowledge of electrical safety legislation, protection schemes and energy grids
