What You’ll Do

As a Paint Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting full vehicle re-sprays
• Carrying out necessary paint repairs using a range of professional spraying techniques.
• Applying basecoats, primers, lacquers, and specialist finishes to achieve flawless results.
• Working with a variety of paint systems including:
  
  • Water- and solvent-based paints
  • Clear over base paints
  • Solid and two-pack paints
  • Metallic paints
  • Three-stage pearlescent paints
  • Matte lacquer finishes
  • Specialised paint finishes
  • Ensuring all vehicles leave the workshop free from defects, including drip marks, tear-backs, or imperfections.
  • Auditing all parts and panels and completing relevant quality signoffs.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and compliance at all times.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

The ideal Paint Technician will have:

• Extensive hands-on experience in whole vehicle spray painting.
• Proven experience working with high-end or luxury vehicles.
• Experience working with carbon fibre components.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow detailed work instructions.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise workload efficiently.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for achieving a flawless finish.
• Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Health & Safety, C.O.S.H.H., and environmental procedures.
