TheRole

TheOperationalExcellenceManagerisresponsibleforthedesign,compliance,,administration/documentation,,includingplantandequipment.

KeyResponsibilities

  • BetheVoiceofOperationsandtheOperationsChampionthroughoutthebusinessalongsidetheOperationsManager.
  • Responsibilityforwarehousehealth,procurement,KPIsandoperationalperformance.
  • Responsibilityfordisasterrecoveryplanningwhichisregularlyreviewedandtested
  • CoverforOperationsManagerwhenabsent(annualleave/sickness)

Customer,Workforce&ShiftPlanning/Forecasting

  • Buildandmaintainanoperationalforecastingtool.
  • Leadtheoperationalforecastingprocessusingthesalesforecastandcustomerschedulestopredictrequirementsaccurately.
  • Monitorforecastaccuracyandpreparescenariosforvolumefluctuations.
  • Analyseandoptimiseshiftpatternstoensureoperationalcoverageandcost-effectiveworkforceutilisation.

OperationalProductivity

  • ReviewandenhanceproductivitylevelsthroughouttheUKwarehouse,identifyingopportunitiesforimprovement.
  • Identifythemostoperationalandcost-efficientmovementacrossallmodesoftransport
  • Analysedatatosupportsmarter,faster,andmoreefficientdecision-making.
  • WorkalongsideoperationalmanagerstodriveperformanceagainstKPIsandservicelevels.

Theroleispermanentand5daysintheoffice.
