TheOperationalExcellenceManagerisresponsibleforthedesign,compliance,,administration/documentation,,includingplantandequipment.
KeyResponsibilities
- BetheVoiceofOperationsandtheOperationsChampionthroughoutthebusinessalongsidetheOperationsManager.
- Responsibilityforwarehousehealth,procurement,KPIsandoperationalperformance.
- Responsibilityfordisasterrecoveryplanningwhichisregularlyreviewedandtested
- CoverforOperationsManagerwhenabsent(annualleave/sickness)
Customer,Workforce&ShiftPlanning/Forecasting
- Buildandmaintainanoperationalforecastingtool.
- Leadtheoperationalforecastingprocessusingthesalesforecastandcustomerschedulestopredictrequirementsaccurately.
- Monitorforecastaccuracyandpreparescenariosforvolumefluctuations.
- Analyseandoptimiseshiftpatternstoensureoperationalcoverageandcost-effectiveworkforceutilisation.
OperationalProductivity
- ReviewandenhanceproductivitylevelsthroughouttheUKwarehouse,identifyingopportunitiesforimprovement.
- Identifythemostoperationalandcost-efficientmovementacrossallmodesoftransport
- Analysedatatosupportsmarter,faster,andmoreefficientdecision-making.
- WorkalongsideoperationalmanagerstodriveperformanceagainstKPIsandservicelevels.
