Office Manager Woking Monday – Friday 37.5 hours Flexible start (7:00am – 9:00am)
We are currently recruiting for an Office Manager to join a well-established, growing organisation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a brand-new role, offering the opportunity to truly make it your own and become a key part of the business.
This position is central to the smooth running of the office and wider operations – acting as the “glue” that keeps everything together. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and play a vital role in supporting people, processes, and day-to-day business activities.
The RoleAs Office Manager, you’ll take ownership of a broad and varied role, including:
HR & Administration Support
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle administration Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records Acting as a first point of contact for HR queries (with external HR support in place)Training & Compliance
Managing training records and ensuring compliance is up to date Scheduling training and monitoring certification renewalsIndirect Purchasing
Managing office and site consumables (e.g. PPE, cleaning supplies, kitchens) Raising purchase orders, sourcing suppliers, and negotiating best value Identifying opportunities to reduce costs and improve supplier efficiencyOffice & Facilities Coordination
Overseeing day-to-day office operations and supplier relationships Coordinating meetings, visitors, and internal events (including SLT meetings) Ensuring a professional, organised, and well-run environmentFront of House
Acting as the first point of contact for visitors and incoming calls Creating a welcoming and professional experience for guests and stakeholdersWhat We’re Looking For Previous experience in office management, administration, or HR support Ideally a background within manufacturing or engineering environments Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with senior stakeholders Experience with purchasing or supplier management (highly desirable) A proactive, personable approach with excellent attention to detailWhy Apply?
