About the Role
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will play a crucial role in designing and delivering evidence-based, individualised treatment plans. This includes supporting residents with a wide range of neurological conditions such as:
- Neurodegenerative diseases
- Functional Neurological Disorders (FND)
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Frontal temporal dementias
- Long-term and complex care needs
Each resident is unique, and the successful applicant will approach every individual with compassion, dignity and respect—just as they would a member of their own family.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions based on thorough assessment and clinical reasoning
- Collaborate with residents and colleagues to identify goals and develop bespoke care plans
- Contribute to the service’s multidisciplinary approach to care and rehabilitation
- Participate in ongoing discussions around resident interventions and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
- Support a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements:
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
- Right to work in the UK
- Satisfactory professional references
Band 5 or 6 salary (dependent on experience). Flexible working hours available.
