Locum Occupational Therapist – Centre-Based Role

Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist with experience in neurological rehabilitation? We are seeking a Locum OT to join our experienced team in Peterborough, delivering centre-based services to clients with a range of neurological conditions.

About the Role:

This locum position involves working with adult clients presenting with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson’s disease, MS, and other acquired or progressive disorders. You’ll conduct assessments, develop and implement therapy plans, and support clients in achieving functional goals that enhance independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out comprehensive neurological and functional assessments
• Develop individualised, goal-oriented treatment plans
• Deliver one-on-one and small group neurorehabilitation interventions
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports in line with professional standards
• Contribute to case conferences and team planning sessions

About You:

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration
• Demonstrated experience in neurological rehabilitation (hospital or community)
• Strong clinical reasoning, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• Open to confident newly qualified therapists with neuro placement experience
