We're seeking a New Business Trading Underwriter to lead Zurich's new business drive in the Property and Casualty (P&C) sector. In this strategic, growth-focused role, you will be at the forefront of identifying, securing, and underwriting new opportunities, helping Zurich strengthen its position in the mid-market. Your Impact: Responsibilities

Proactively source, develop, and secure new Property and Casualty business, expanding Zurich's portfolio and market share. Build and nurture strong relationships with brokers, clients, and industry partners to unlock new opportunities and raise Zurich's profile. Lead the underwriting of complex and high-value P&C risks, delivering tailored solutions that meet the needs of new and prospective clients. Monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory changes, using your insights to target untapped segments and shape winning business strategies. Play a key role in supporting the wider regional team by fostering growth through coaching and development, encouraging collaboration, and driving commercial success.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Property and Casualty underwriting, with a strong focus on business development and client acquisition. Excellent technical and analytical skills, able to assess complex risks and identify new business opportunities. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills to build lasting market relationships. A proactive, commercially minded approach with a passion for business growth and market engagement.
