Multi‑Skilled Operative / Joiner – Social Housing
Contract: Permanent Location: Leeds & West Yorkshire Employer: Social Housing Contractor
The Role
We are recruiting a Multi‑Skilled Operative / Joiner to join a well‑established social housing contractor on a permanent basis. The role will primarily focus on void property refurbishments, with some reactive repair work across occupied homes.
You will be responsible for bringing empty properties back up to a lettable living standard, as well as completing high‑quality repairs in tenanted properties when required.
Key Responsibilities
Void refurbishments including joinery, repairs, and making good First and second fix joinery Doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens and flooring Minor plumbing and basic non‑certifiable electrical tasks Reactive repairs in occupied properties (as required) Working to schedules and maintaining high standards of workmanship Ensuring all works are carried out safely and compliantly
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience working in social housing Strong background in voids and responsive maintenance Time‑served or experienced Joiner / Multi‑Skilled Operative Ability to work independently and problem‑solve on site Customer‑focused approach when working in occupied homes Full UK driving licence
