Job Title: Mobile Gas Engineer
Location: South of London & Surrounding Areas
Salary: £50,000 - £52,450
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Reporting to: Line Manager

About the Role

EQUANS is seeking an experienced and qualified Mobile Gas Engineer to join our Private South - Mobile team. The successful candidate will support the Contract Manager in delivering compliance, servicing, and remedial works across a portfolio of sites in the South of London and surrounding areas. This is a field-based role with responsibility for a wide range of combustion systems and associated plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and repair of combustion appliances and equipment

• Provide detailed condition and dilapidation reports

• Support the Helpdesk team with planned and reactive maintenance

• Assist with preparing quotations for additional works

• Participate in the regional on-call rota

• Ensure all work is compliant with current gas regulations and EQUANS standards

• Report any hazardous installations or safety concerns

• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, organised, and capable of working independently under pressure. You should be confident in prioritising tasks, communicating effectively, and maintaining a high standard of workmanship.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Extensive knowledge of commercial and domestic gas systems

• Strong background in servicing, installation, and repair

• Recognised gas qualifications, including:

  • CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CPA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A

  • And other relevant commercial gas competencies

• Valid driving licence
