We are currently recruiting experienced MIG Welders to work on heavy industrial machinery, including crushers and shredders. This role involves high-quality welding in a fabrication and repair environment, working with thick materials and heavy-duty components.

Permanent positions are available in both Burton-on-Trent and Swadlincote.

Pay Rates
* Days: £17 per hour (PAYE)
* Nights: £21 per hour (PAYE)
* Overtime:
o Weekdays & Saturdays - x1.5
o Sundays - x2

Working Hours
* Day Shift: 07:00 - 17:00 (45 hours per week)
* Night Shift: Flexible shift times available
* Flexibility with start and finish times for both shifts

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* MIG welding on heavy machinery such as crushers and shredders.
* Fabrication, repair, and refurbishment of large industrial components.
* Reading and working from engineering drawings.
* Welding thick plate and heavy structural steel.
* Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
* Working independently or as part of a team.

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a MIG Welder.
* Experience welding heavy machinery or thick materials.
* Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings.
* Good attention to detail and quality.
* Strong commitment to health and safety.
* Welding qualifications preferred, but proven experience essential.
