Meridian Business Support are recruiting for skilled MIG and TIG Welders to work for our client based in stoke on trent.

Job Title: MIG/TIG Welder
Location: Longton
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:30pm | Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
Our client is a well-established manufacturing company based in Longton, providing high-quality metal cutting, bending and welding solutions to a wide range of clients. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced MIG and TIG Welder to join their team.
The Role This is a hands-on welding role within a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components in line with technical drawings and company standards.
Key Responsibilities
MIG and TIG welding mild steel components
Working from engineering drawings and job specifications
Fabricating and assembling parts as required
Inspecting welds to ensure quality standards are met
Maintaining a safe and tidy work area
Supporting production targets and deadlinesRequirements
Proven experience as a MIG - TIG Welder
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Reliable with a positive and proactive attitudeWorking Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pmBenefits
