Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer - 4ON 4OFF (Days only) - London, Mayfair - £48,000 per annum + Package\n\nAn exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Mayfair. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building located in the heart of Mayfair. The building has 8 floors with around 225,000 square footage and includes office space, gym and high end residential apartments with easy access to both stations Green park (Jubilee line and Victoria line), Bond street (Central line, Jubilee line and Elizabeth line).

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G, NVQ or apprenticeship trained) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working alongside a team of 4, you will be required to carry out PPM & Reactive maintenance across both the landlord and tenant areas.\n\nHour of work\n\n4ON 4OFF - DAYS ONLY 07:00am to 19:00pm\n\nKey Duties:\n\nDeliver PPM and reactive maintenance through the PPM system, ensuring faults are resolved quickly and equipment remains operational.\nMaintain required spare parts and complete accurate maintenance records/job sheets.\nPrepare and follow Method Statements and Risk Assessments to ensure safe working practices.\nCarry out lighting and emergency lighting maintenance, including small installations, fault-finding, and component replacement.\nService AC systems (AHUs, FCUs), support basic chiller resets, and perform water treatment temperature checks.\nMonitor and maintain mechanical plants, pumps, and motors.\nBMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)\nUndertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.\nBe proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.\nBe proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.\nMaintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.\nReport service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.\nRemain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.\nEscort specialist subcontractors around sitePackage\n\nBasic salary of £48,000 per annum\nPrivate health care\nSeason ticket reduction on train fare\n25 days annual leave\nOvertime availableRequirements\nHave an understanding of HVAC workloads and issues\nMust have excellent customer facing skills to include an understanding of customer related issues.\nMechanically qualified - City & Guilds, NVQ or Apprentice trained\nIdeally Computer literate with a working knowledge of MS office system/BMS\nA proven track record in commercial building maintenance\nMust be able to provide copies of your trade certificates\nBe fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative mattersIf interested and would like to know more, please contact Charlie Long from CBW Staffing solutions
