Mechanical Shift Engineer\n London Bridge, London\n £50,000 – £52,000\n\n This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building services provider on a high-profile commercial contract based in London Bridge. The successful engineer will be mechanically qualified and will work a continental shift pattern covering days and nights, as part of a large, established on-site maintenance team.\n\n You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, remedial works, and emergency response across this prestigious site, which forms part of a flagship commercial estate for the business.\n\n The company is a well-established and highly reputable maintenance provider, known for investing in its engineers through continuous training and clear internal progression opportunities. This role offers long-term stability and the chance to develop your career on a technically challenging and high-end contract.\n\n Duties \nPPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance \nAHUs and FCUs \nPumps (bearings, mechanical seals) \nWater treatment (tap tests, dosing, cooling tower checks, etc.) \nCooling towers \nTap temperature monitoring \nChilled water systems \nHeat exchangers \nPlumbing \nGenerators \nPressurisation units \nBMS operation \nCRAC units \nMotors Requirements \nMechanically qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent \nApprenticeship trained (desirable) \nMinimum of 5 years’ building services maintenance experience \nStrong client-facing skills \nDriven, organised, and methodical approach Package \n£50,000 – £52,000 per annum \nContinental shift pattern (days and nights) \n20 days holiday \nPension scheme \nOvertime available \nOngoing training and development \nExcellent internal progression opportunities If you are looking to join a highly respected building services provider with an excellent staff retention rate and strong career prospects, apply now
