Mechanical Project Manager\n\nLocation: Manchester (with occasional travel & lodging)\n\nWe're working with a growing building services contractor looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to support delivery across a range of projects.\n\nThe business has a strong pipeline across healthcare, education, and commercial sectors, with projects typically up to £5m in value. This role offers a clear progression route, starting on smaller schemes with the opportunity to move onto larger projects over time.\n\nThe Role\n\nManaging mechanical building services projects from pre-construction through to completion\nOverseeing delivery across programme, cost, quality, and coordination\nManaging subcontractors alongside in-house engineers\nUsing project platforms such as Procore, ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud), Asite or similar\nOverseeing commissioning and ensuring smooth handover of projects\nProducing and managing commissioning plans, O&M manuals, and handover documentation\nSupporting or leading pre-construction activities where requiredWhat We're Looking For\n\nStrong background in mechanical building services, including:\nWet systems (heating, chilled water, domestic services)\nVentilation\nAir conditioning\nBMS controls\nSprinkler systems\nGood understanding of current regulations and industry standards (including HTM where relevant)\nExperience delivering projects of a similar size and value\nStrong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholdersWhat's on Offer\n\n£50,000 + bonuses \nSupportive and collaborative team environment\nClear progression into larger, higher value projects\nOpportunity to grow within an expanding business
