Mechanical Project Manager\n\nWe're looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a design & build contractor in Manchester that's experiencing strong and sustained growth.\n\nYou'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously - typically around five at any one time - ensuring all works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a hands-on, commercially focused position that involves managing subcontract labour, maintaining client relationships, and driving project profitability.\n\nKey responsibilities:\n\nLead and manage multiple commercial and industrial mechanical installations\n\nOversee planning, delivery, and financial performance across live projects\n\nManage subcontractors and ensure quality, safety, and compliance on-site\n\nTake ownership of project budgets, procurement, and client variations\n\nWork collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution\n\nPackage\n\nTotal salary: £66,000 - £86,000\nBonus: £10,000 to £20,000 (linked to gross profit performance)\n\nBase salary: £50,000 - £60,000 \nCar allowance: £6,000 per annum\n\n33 days' holiday (including bank holidays)\n\nOpportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking contractor\n\nRequirements\n\nProven track record as a Mechanical Project Manager\n\nStrong knowledge of commercial and industrial mechanical installations\n\nExperience managing both gross and net profit across projects\n\nConfident with procurement and subcontract management\n\nWilling to travel nationally when required\n\nWR HVAC | M&E are #1 recruitment partner for HVAC jobs.
