Mechanical/Process Engineer We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical/Process Engineer to join our innovative engineering team focused on industrial heat treatment systems. Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (39 hours per week) Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Benefits include: Long-term permanent opportunity with career development Attendance and performance-based bonuses Day-to-day duties: As a Mechanical/Process Engineer, your responsibilities will include: Designing mechanical components and assemblies for industrial heat treatment equipment using 3D CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Fusion 360) Developing combustion system layouts, burner designs, and safety features in compliance with EN 746 standards Performing thermal and fluid dynamic simulations using Autodesk CFD or similar platforms Analysing temperature distribution, heat flow behaviour, and process efficiency to optimise system performance Collaborating with process engineering teams to integrate combustion, airflow, insulation, and thermal process requireme...
