Mechanical Maintenance Engineer | 4-Day Week | £48k+ Package

The Opportunity Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer/Mechanical Maintenance Technician who prefers solving root-cause issues rather than just "patching" machines?

\n

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a specialist manufacturing site in Liverpool.

\n

Technical Ownership: You'll have a direct influence on the Preventive Maintenance Programme (PPM) and contribute to project work. \n

What You'll Be Doing Working within a tight-knit engineering team, you will:

\n Maintain and optimise high-pressure systems, including pumps, valves, and regulators. \n

Lead mechanical project installations and equipment modifications. \n

Diagnose complex faults and implement long-term reliability fixes. \n

Collaborate with management to drive continuous improvement across the shop floor. \n

\n

What We're Looking For

\n

\n Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent). \n

Background: Solid experience in a manufacturing or heavy industrial environment. \n

Skillset: A proven track record with mechanical systems (pumps and valves are essential). \n

\n

The Package

\n

\n \nEarnings: £20.50 - £22.90 per hour + £71/week allowance (£43k - £48k+ total).\n \n

\nBonus: Two performance-related bonuses per year.\n \n

\nTime Off: 150 hours holiday + Bank Holidays.\n \n
