Job Title: Mechanical Day Technician Data Centre LondonYour new employer is one of the UKs leading facilities management providers, and they are looking for a skilled Mechanical Day Technician to join their Data Centre team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a critical environment with opportunities for training, upskilling, and career progression.What you'll be doing: Delivering planned, reactive, and corrective maintenance across mechanical systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, boilers, pumps, VFDs, and DRUPS Operating mechanical systems safely and efficiently, including isolations where required Supporting the Data Centre Shift Leader in coordinating specialist subcontractor work, ensuring adherence to SOPs, MOPs, and PTW processes Reporting on completed work, recording spares and stock usage accurately Participating in QHSE compliance activities such as hazard reporting and toolbox talks Assisting with shift handovers and ensuring plant rooms are maintained to site standards Evaluating and escalating risks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives What you'll get in return: Up to £49,000 per annumMonday to Friday, 08:00 17:0025 days annual leave plus bank holidays Long-term, stable contract within a critical data centre environment Training and development opportunities, including Mechanical Authorised Person (MAP) progression Company pension scheme The Person: Minimum 5 years mechanical experience in Data Centre or critical environment operations Mechanical Authorised Person (MAP) preferred HNC/HND in a mechanical field or completed mechanical apprenticeship (or equivalent) Strong communication skills, confident dealing with all levels of staff Proactive and committed to operational excellence Good IT and report-writing skills Reliable, professional, and able to work under pressure while maintaining standards What to do now:If you, or someone you know, could be interested in this role, apply today or call Harryon 07537 163 682 for a confidential discussion.JBRP1_UKTJ
