Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber FM Service Provider -Chesterford - £45,000
An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based inChesterford, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial estate of buildings near Chesterford, Essex. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.
Hours of work & Package
  • Monday - Friday , 8am - 5pm
  • £45,000
  • 25 Days Holiday
  • Extra 1 Day off for Birthday
  • Overtime available
  • Parking available on site
Requirements
  • City & Guilds / NVQ
  • NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing
  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Need to be able to travel back home after finishingat 00:00am
Mechanical duties:
  • Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
  • AHUs/FCUs filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
  • Pumps PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
  • Motors PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
  • Water treatment dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
  • Water pressurization units
  • Chlorifiers annual inspection, descaling
  • Steam Plant
  • Condensers, Condenser Returns
  • Cooling towers
  • Softeners
  • Humidifiers
  • Hydraulics
  • Pneumatics
  • Boilers re-sets
  • Chillers re-sets, 1st Line faults
