Role Overview\n\nWe are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and manage commissioning activities on a long-term project in Reading. The role will involve overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of commissioning for M&E systems, ensuring all systems are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with project requirements.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Lead and manage the commissioning process for all M&E systems\n\n * \n\n Develop and manage commissioning plans, programmes, and procedures\n\n * \n\n Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, design, and client teams\n\n * \n\n Manage commissioning engineers, specialists, and subcontractors\n\n * \n\n Ensure systems are tested, validated, and commissioned in line with specifications and standards\n\n * \n\n Identify and resolve commissioning issues, defects, and interface risks\n\n * \n\n Ensure compliance with health & safety, quality, and security requirements\n\n * \n\n Manage witnessing, sign-off, and client acceptance processes\n\n * \n\n Oversee documentation, O&M manuals, test results, and handover packages\n\n * \n\n Support final handover and project close-out activities\n\nEssential Requirements\n\n * \n\n Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on large-scale or complex projects\n\n * \n\n Strong background in M&E systems commissioning\n\n * \n\n Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership skills\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of commissioning procedures, testing protocols, and standards\n\n * \n\n In-depth knowledge of health & safety and construction regulations\n\n * \n\n Valid CSCS Card\n\n * \n\n Ability to obtain SC Security Clearance\n\n * \n\n Sole British (mandatory for clearance)\n\nTo Apply\n\nPlease send your up-to-date CV
