The Role – Maths Teaching Assistant

The role of a Maths Teaching Assistant requires an individual to support and encourage 5 SEN students in a year 11 class to further their learning and development. This role also requires someone to meet the needs of students and to provide a supportive and positive environment for them to flourish in. the students you will be supporting will have different needs such as: ASD and MLD. Ideally, you will have previous experience supporting Maths GCSE or you have a maths related degree.

This lovely community special school is based in Greenwich. The nearest train station is a 10 minute walk. This school provides a safe and positive environment, supporting students aged 11-16 years old that have SEN including – SLCN, ASD, SEMH and MLD. This school focuses on meeting the needs of each student, therefore making each student feeling valued and happy. The Ofsted report for this school is graded as good.
