Materials Controller (Warehouse)

Senior Salmon are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Material Controller based in our clients manufacturing facility in Staveley.

Key Responsibilities Include:
· Oversee inventory and supply chain according to company guidelines
· Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct quantity of items are in stock
· Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
· Review documentation to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
· Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency
· Collect and analyse data to determine appropriate order quantities, process orders for shipment
· Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfilment

Requirements and Qualifications needed:
· Minimum of one year of related experience in Stores, Warehousing, or logistics
· Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
· Familiarity with Jeeves or similar ERP or MRP resource planning software
· Superior organizational skill
· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have but not Essential:
· FLT licence (If not training will be provided)
· Lean Manufacturing experience
· SEMA Approved Rack Inspector Qualification

This is a Warehouse based role within a manufacturing facility, based in Staveley, S43 area of Chesterfield

40 hours per week (Mon – Thur 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am – 2pm)
