Materials Controller (Warehouse)

Senior Salmon are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Material Controller based in our clients manufacturing facility in Staveley.

Key Responsibilities Include:
Oversee inventory and supply chain according to company guidelines
Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct quantity of items are in stock
Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts
Review documentation to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records
Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures to maximize efficiency
Collect and analyse data to determine appropriate order quantities, process orders for shipment
Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfilment

Requirements and Qualifications needed:
Minimum of one year of related experience in Stores, Warehousing, or logistics
Proficient with computers and other standard office technology
Familiarity with Jeeves or similar ERP or MRP resource planning software
Superior organizational skill
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have but not Essential:
FLT licence (If not training will be provided)
Lean Manufacturing experience
SEMA Approved Rack Inspector Qualification

This is a Warehouse based role within a manufacturing facility, based in Staveley, S43 area of Chesterfield

40 hours per week (Mon Thur 8am 5pm, Fri 8am 2pm)
