Job Overview: Our client, an established manufacturer of engineered composite materials we are looking for a Manual Lathe Operator to join their precision engineering team. Remit: As a Manual Lathe Operator you will be responsible for operating manual lathes to machine high-precision components in accordance with engineering drawings and tolerances. This is an opportunity to secure a days role on a permanent basis however a contractor will also be considered for this position. Role: Setup and operate Hylingensteadi manual lathes to machine composite components. Read and interpret engineering drawings and job specifications. Monitor tooling condition and make required adjustments. Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools. Maintain daily production and quality records.
